I started out as a general dentist and spent the better part of a decade in busy clinics, including several years in the UAE. The cases that always pulled me in were the ones where teeth and jaws didn't sit right. So I went back to school for three more years and specialised in orthodontics at KMCT Dental College.

Since then I've done nothing but orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics: clear aligners, fixed appliances (MBT, Damon, double-slot brackets), growth modification for kids, and the harder cases that need bone anchorage (TADs), MARPE expansion, or coordination with an oral surgeon. My thesis was a CBCT study on buccal shelf bone for miniscrew insertion, which is still how I plan most of my anchorage cases today.

I built Smile Align around how I'd want to be treated as a patient: enough time per appointment to actually answer questions, transparent pricing, CBCT-based planning where it matters, and the option to message me on WhatsApp between visits when something feels off.
